Westgate Resorts, one of Central Florida's largest privately held companies with $1.24 billion in 2016 revenue, is sharing a peek at the $14 million upgrade of its Cocoa Beach resort.

The renovation, slated to be finished by this summer, will transform the 120-room Wakulla Suites property into the Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort by freshening up amenities including rooms, meeting space and water features. Westgate added the Wakulla Suites resort to its portfolio last year as part of its overall plan to revitalize the Cocoa Beach Pier attraction, which is also a Westgate asset.
